“I had a beautiful experience working with Genesis. Everybody who works there is incredibly warm and always rooting for their surrogates and intended families. During my experience as a surrogate I felt like the staff at Genesis all really enjoy what they do and enjoy working for the company. When I decided I wanted donate my eggs to a couple who could not conceive a child, I didn't even know where to begin. I reviewed a few websites for egg donor agencies in Los Angeles, and applied to a few. The first one to call me back was The Genesis Group. From the very beginning of the process, everyone who handled my case starting with the person who answered the phone to the person who did my evaluation, was very kind, thorough, and professional. They have a great sense of humor and make you feel more at ease. Genesis group works closely with USC Fertility Clinic, which is where I went for the entire medical portion of the process of my egg donation. (Genesis screens you psychologically, sets you up with an attorney, and does the match making between intended parents and egg donors). I have to say I was pretty nervous about all of this, and I'm pretty sure my friends thought I had lost my mind. This was my first time going through an egg donation cycle, and I really didn't know what to expect. I just recently relocated to Los Angeles from the other side of the country, and all of my family and most of my friends are still there. So this whole experience could have easily been way more scary, alienating and nerve racking if the people at USC hadn't been so darn nice and supportive. From the second I stepped into the lobby, until a month later when I was discharged after the minor surgical procedure to collect my eggs, and all of the appointments in between (and trust me, there were A LOT. I could have had my own personal chair in the waiting room with my name on it), everyone from the receptionists to the doctor handling my case (Dr. Chung) were exceptionally nice, very professional, funny, helpful, and took the time to explain EVERYTHING to me. I am really interested in medical stuff, so they all took the time to explain the technicalities and what each drug did and why, etc. I was not herded in and out or treated like a barcode. One of the doctors even took the extra time to make and print out ultrasound photo for me to take home because I asked her if I could have a copy (yes, I am that nerdy). They gave me juice and crackers when I woke up from anesthesia, and explained my discharge instructions along with handing me a copy before calling my ride home not once but THREE times to make sure they found me OK. How's that for service? If you are thinking about donating your eggs, but are unsure, or if you are an intended parent looking for a great clinic to use, I highly recommend this facility, and the Genesis Agency. They are top notch! Thanks to my wonderful experience, despite the discomfort inherent with the egg donating process, I will definitely do it again, and hope to be matched up with this clinic.

I started working with this agency about 5 months ago when I finally decided it was the right time to become a surrogate. I thought about this journey over and over because I was afraid of the whole process, it's my first time looking into it and everything was really scary. I was afraid of it not being what I wanted or of me having a bad experience with my agency. But oh my gosh these ladies gave me the sense of reassurance and support that I needed. From the start they treated me with so much love and I instantly felt welcomed. I recently met my Case Manager in person and it felt like we already knew each other from before. She was the sweetest and made me feel calm during my medical clearance appointment. I'm luckily matched and the whole process was made so simple thanks to all the amazing ladies at the Genesis Surrogacy Group.

Being an egg donor has been the single most fulfilling experience in my life, besides recently becoming a first time mother myself.

The process of being an egg donor and or surrogate is intimidating. Specially, if it's your first time. It's filled with what if's? what does this mean? What happens when? How does this work? Etc. If you have decided that you want to give the most beautiful gift to another person you need someone that will be your guiding light in this process.

I am constantly approached by different agencies and individuals to be an egg donor yet time and again I have chosen ONLY to work with Genesis. Every time I work with them I know they have my best interest as well as the IP's best interest in mind. After working with them my first cycle I felt like they had become my extended family. The 'Genesis Experience' is one that's tailor made for each individual. The way everyone tended to my needs during all 5 cycles, whenever I needed it (be it 3am or 3pm) made me feel I was their only client. When in reality they are working with so many donors, surrogates and IP's at the same time.

My life now as I know it would be incomplete without Nikki (Program Director at Genesis). Over the past 4 years not only has been my mentor through my cycles but become very dear to my heart as a great friend.

Before my first cycle I did a lot of research as of to who I wanted to work with. After all my interviews and meetings I found no one out there was better than Genesis group. Even though I lived in the East Coast and they were located in the West I chose them over the other closer agencies.

I cannot believe what an amazing experience I had with the Genesis Group! From the moment I signed to the day of my egg retrieval, they were helpful, professional and thorough. I was a first time egg donor and they explained the process to me very well and made sure I felt comfortable with everything they were doing and that I knew every step of the procedure.
