My journey as an intended mother had a rocky start when my initial surrogate was fired by my OB on the day of implantation (because of repeated failure to show up to appointments, inject hormones, etc.) in the depths of despair and sorrow that followed, La Vonna, Erica, and their team rallied behind me to give me hop and raise my spirits to get back on my track of being a mother-something I have dreamed of for years. Erica was incredibly warm, always available, always encouraging even when the lights seemed dim. Her positive energy and can-do attitude was a God-sent and finally I stared to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I could not believe also how approachable, personable, yet strong La Vonna was - she really went above and beyond to help me recover and restart. The new surrogate they found for me was - and has been - incredible. Sweet, responsive, with an amazing family of her own, she made this journey seem easy and peaceful. Believe or not with the help of this wonderful team the entire pregnancy seemed to go by in a flash and without any wrinkles. Now as I hold my newborn son in arm, I am at awe not only at how amazing a new life can be, but also in gratitude to these incredibly wonderful ladies to make it happen. Thank you.
